About Cole Attaway

Cole Attaway is the founder of Spike Electric Controls, and Spike Fabrication Services — all multimillion-dollar companies. He started, however, as an entrepreneur with humble beginnings.

Beginning in the industrial refineries of Houston, Texas, Attaway quickly developed skills in sales management, sales training, and industrial electrical manufacturing. With a dream of owning his own business, he started his first business with $10,000, a storage facility, and faith that he would succeed. Working 14-hour days every day of the week, he was able to hire his first employee within the first 60 days in business.

Robert Hodson, the now-president of Spike Electric, gave Attaway his first purchase order. He would later partner up with Cole and invest everything he had, including mortgaging his own home, to help Spike Electric become the successful company it is today.

Attaway and Hodson, along with Francisco Gomez and Terry Hodson, are now all partners in Spike Electric, a multimillion-dollar business with more than 60 employees and two locations. It has spread across the nation with a unique, new business model that is serving distributors and industrial contractors alike. They know that something bigger than themselves brought them together.

Attaway strives to be a servant leader in his career and in his home. He is a family man, working first for God and then for his family, which are the two most important things in his life.
